This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how subscription cancellations, renewals, trials, and refund requests are handled for Avira.
1. Company Information
Avira is owned and operated by MarsLabs ("MarsLabs," "we," "us," or "our").
Email: m4rsl4bs@gmail.com
2. Digital Services
Avira provides digital AI companion experiences and related features. Because Avira provides digital services rather than physical goods, there are no goods to return and provisions relating to shipping, packaging, or physical delivery do not apply.
3. Plans, Trials, and Billing
Avira may offer free access, paid subscriptions, trials, credits, or promotional plans. The applicable price, trial duration, billing frequency, included features, taxes, and renewal terms will be displayed before you complete a purchase.
By purchasing a plan, you agree to the terms displayed at checkout and to any additional terms imposed by the app store or payment provider processing the purchase.
4. Trial Periods
If a trial is offered, its duration, eligibility rules, and the price charged after the trial will be displayed before you subscribe. Unless the checkout terms state otherwise, you must cancel before the trial ends to avoid conversion to a paid subscription.
Trial availability may be limited to new users, selected offers, payment methods, or platforms. Trial offers may be changed or withdrawn before purchase.
5. Cancelling a Subscription
You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund charges already processed, except where required by law or approved under this Policy.
Unless the relevant platform states otherwise, you may continue using paid features until the end of the current paid billing period.
6. How to Cancel
You must cancel through the platform or payment method used to subscribe:
- Google Play: Use the subscription settings in Google Play.
- Apple App Store: Use the subscription settings associated with your Apple ID.
- Website or direct payment: Use any cancellation control available in your Avira account or contact us.
- UPI mandate or payment gateway: Use the provider's mandate or subscription settings, an available in-app control, or contact us for assistance.
Deleting the Avira application, deleting your account, or simply stopping use of the Service does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
7. Refund Eligibility
Payments for digital subscriptions, credits, trial conversions, and other digital features are generally non-refundable after access has been provided, except where required by applicable law, required by the payment platform, or approved by MarsLabs.
We may consider a refund when:
- A technical error caused a duplicate or incorrect charge
- You were charged after completing cancellation before the renewal deadline
- A successful direct payment did not activate the purchased access
- Paid features were materially unavailable because of an issue caused by us
- Applicable law or the payment platform requires a refund
Refunds ordinarily will not be provided merely because:
- You forgot to cancel before a trial ended or a subscription renewed
- You changed your mind after paid access was provided
- You did not use the Service during an active billing period
- You deleted the Application or your account without cancelling the subscription
- A problem with your device, internet connection, or an unrelated third-party service prevented access
These examples do not limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
8. App Store Purchases
If you purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancellation and refund requests may need to be submitted directly to that store and will be governed by its policies. MarsLabs may be unable to directly refund a payment processed and controlled by an app store.
9. Direct, UPI, and Payment-Gateway Purchases
For a purchase made directly through Avira, UPI, or another payment gateway, email m4rsl4bs@gmail.com with your account details, transaction reference, payment date and amount, and the reason for your request.
If a refund is approved, we will initiate it to the original payment method. The time for funds to appear depends on the bank, UPI provider, payment gateway, or platform and is outside our direct control.
10. Failed, Pending, or Duplicate Payments
If money was deducted but access was not activated, contact us with proof of payment and the transaction details. After verification, we may activate the purchase or initiate an appropriate refund.
A verified duplicate payment for the same purchase period may be refunded or, with your agreement, adjusted against future access, subject to the payment provider's rules.
11. Promotional Offers
Promotional plans, discounts, coupons, credits, and limited-period offers may have additional terms displayed with the offer. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, promotional purchases may be non-refundable after access or credits have been provided.
12. Suspended or Terminated Accounts
If an account is suspended, restricted, or terminated for fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, unauthorized sharing, or a material violation of our Terms and Conditions, the user may not be eligible for a refund, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Requesting a Refund
For a direct-payment refund request, email us with:
- Your registered email address, phone number, or Avira account identifier
- Transaction ID or payment reference
- Payment date and amount
- The reason for the request
- A screenshot or other proof of payment, if available
Do not send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, full card numbers, or banking credentials.
14. Contact Us
- Business: MarsLabs
- Email: m4rsl4bs@gmail.com
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
